We’re excited to present a welcome from Tableau President & CEO Adam Selipsky, Tableau’s priorities and plans from Senior Vice President Lynn Smith, and testimonials from a Tableau partner and customer about what it means to join Tableau’s mission to help people see and understand data.
Adam Selipsky
Adam Selipsky is the President and CEO at Tableau. He sets the vision and direction for Tableau, and oversees all company strategy, business activities and operations. Selipsky spent over a decade building Amazon Web Services, one of the most successful technology platforms in the world. His leadership helped grow AWS from a start-up into a multi-billion dollar business and establish it as the undisputed market leader in cloud computing. Selipsky served as Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Support for AWS. Prior to joining Amazon, he was an executive at RealNetworks, leading the video subscription and media player division. Before that, he was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting, a strategy consulting firm. He holds an A.B. in Government and an MBA from Harvard University.

Michael Hoff
Michael Hoff is the Vice President of Channel Sales for the Americas at Tableau Software. Michael and a team of Channel professionals are responsible for setting strategy and direction, building and growing the Tableau partner ecosystem (services partners, technology partners, resellers and strategic partnerships).
Prior to joining Tableau in August of 2015, Michael served as the VP of Global Sales for EMC’s Advanced Software Division responsible for selling EMC’s software defined storage platform of solutions to enterprise, midmarket and public sector customers worldwide. He was responsible for over $1B in revenue managing approximately 230+ sales and presales professionals.
Prior to EMC, Michael spent 15+ years at Microsoft in various Enterprise sales leadership roles. In his most recent role, Michael served as General Manager for the Worldwide Enterprise Incubation Sales business managing a team of 400+ sales professionals selling Microsoft’s portfolio of advanced technology solutions including Windows Azure, StorSimple, Windows Intune, Office365, Lync VoIP, SQL Parallel Data Warehouse, Windows Server HPC and others. During his 5 years leading Microsoft’s Incubation Sales team, Michael was responsible for ‘incubating’ 15 products that now represent over $6B in revenue to Microsoft, mostly in cloud platforms.

Seann Gardiner
Seann Gardiner is SVP of Business Development at Alteryx, where he has worldwide responsibility for systems integrator, technology, and OEM partners. Seann also drives expansion in emerging markets, including Asia Pacific and Latin America. Prior to joining Alteryx in 2013, Seann served as Senior Director of Business Development at KACE, where he led the company’s channel efforts and strategic partnerships, including Dell and Apple. KACE was subsequently acquired by Dell in 2010, when he relocated to Europe and spent three years leading all aspects of the company integration and driving rapid expansion of KACE across EMEA.

Tracy Ring, Specialist Leader, Deloitte Consulting LLP, has more than 15 years of global technology consulting experience, specializing in analytics and information management. Tracy’s early career achievements include helping clients shape and deliver their analytics strategy through the development of complex centers of excellence. Currently, Tracy is responsible for managing the alliance relationships with key technology vendors, like Tableau, to help Deloitte partners, directors and practitioners gain awareness, information and training to deliver leading capabilities to their clients. In this strategic role, Tracy creates a culture of alignment between Deloitte and Tableau with go-to-market campaigns, participation in reseller programs and enablement activities.

Janice Robertson
Janice Robertson graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and has since worked in the software industry. She joined Tableau in 2013. Prior to Tableau, Robertson worked at Convio, Inc. (now Blackbaud Inc.), a SAAS company focused on online fundraising platforms for non-profit organizations. There, she focused on marketing lead generation programs and managed in-person and online events. At Tableau, Robertson started with managing tradeshow events which exposed her to Tableau partners. She enjoyed working with partners so much, she moved to the channel team and for the last 3 years has supported USCA partners in Tableau marketing programs. Janice currently resides in Seattle, WA with her husband and dog.
Kevin Price
Kevin is the Senior Director of Partner Marketing at Tableau where he and his team help partners grow their business through joint demand generation and developing go-to-market resources for partners. Prior to joining Tableau, Kevin worked at a variety of high tech companies ranging from startups to Microsoft. He is originally from Oregon and holds an MBA from Willamette University.

Aaron has spent his career crafting delightful and empowering human-computer interactions, especially through natural language interfaces. After leaving Stanford with a BS and an MS in Symbolic Systems and working at Apple on iOS and Siri (doing engineering, research, and design in the Advanced Development Group), Aaron leads the design team and guides the product vision at Alation. In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, board games, and Thai food.

Her goal is to reduce partner ramp time with Tableau sales and products in an effort to increase their sales goals with Tableau. Previously, Catherine worked with Slalom, a Tableau partner, to help manage their status as a premier Microsoft partner. Catherine enjoys spending time with her labradoodle Harvey and cat Stella, and traveling with her husband Chris – but not necessarily in that order.
Cengiz Ulusarac
Cengiz Ulusarac is the Director of Channel Programs and Readiness at Tableau. Prior to Tableau, Cengiz work at HP, SAP, and EMC in various channel strategy and programs roles. He holds an MBA from University of California Haas School of Business, an MS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a BS from Istanbul Technical University.

Andrew McIntyre
Andrew McIntyre has over 16 years of experience working in various technology and business functions across multiple positions in the Silicon Valley from software development, to systems implementation, to sales consulting and solutions architecture. Andrew has been with Informatica for over two years and he currently supports the technical partnership with Tableau and thrives on building a lasting relationship built on a combine love of data. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of California Santa Barbara and an MBA from California State University East Bay.
Jon Milelli
Jon Milelli has over 20 years of Silicon Valley experience that spans from PCs, to Programmer, to Solution Architect, to Partner Alliance Management, and currently manages Informatica’s partnership with Tableau. His describes the Tableau partnership as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because it goes so well together. Jon has been at Informatica for over three years and holds Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from California State University, Chico.
